Morning Meeting

Each morning we start by having a Morning Meeting.  Morning Meeting is a great time to get to know the other classmates.  We play a game, greet each person in the circle, and two people get to share an about an experience.  Here we are making new friends!

Read to Self and Sharing

Each day we have a chance to read our own good fit books.  Here you will see us reading in our own cozy spot.

Here we are sharing after read to self time.  We get to share how we used the skills learned this week in our individual reading.

Literacy Games

This morning we broke into groups to do literacy stations. You will see us learning about blends and digraphs and working on making sentences.  One group even counted syllables.  We are all doing something a little different here.

Reading Groups

We have individualized reading groups based on skill level!  We are SO lucky that our camp counselors are education majors.  Here you will see us in the middle of reading groups.
